Expansion tank Elbi ER-18

Elbi expansion tanks of the ER series are designed to compensate for thermal expansion of the coolant in closed heating systems. All models are made of durable high-quality steel and are designed for long-term operation. The standard case color is red. The diaphragm is made of special rubber. Temperature mode of expansion tanks from: -10 °C to + 99 °C.

Installation of the tank should be carried out in closed rooms or in places protected from atmospheric exposure. For proper operation of the tank, internal air pressure is necessary, without water pressure load. The maximum working pressure of the tank should not be less than the sum of two pressures: the pressure on the safety valve and the overpressure of the valve itself. It is necessary to take into account the difference in the height of the location of the tank itself and the safety valve. The tank volume must be at least 10% of the volume of the heating system
