Details
Dixis antifreeze 65 for heating systems protects equipment (heaters, radiators, etc.) from scale formation, which significantly prolongs the service life of all system components and avoids corrosion. It is recommended to use it for heating systems with steel, aluminum or cast iron radiators. The Dixis coolant is suitable for systems with copper, plastic, steel and metal-plastic pipes, therefore it can be used in almost any system.
The heat carrier Dixis 65 (ethylene glycol) 10 liters with a crystallization start temperature of -66 ° C can be used both in its original form in the Far North and in areas with a temperate climate, diluting it with water in a certain ratio, obtaining antifreezes with different crystallization start temperatures: - 40 ° C, -30 ° C, -20 °C.
Advantages of Dixis-65 antifreeze
high frost resistance;
the possibility of using both in a diluted form and without dilution;
removes deposits on internal surfaces;
does not cause destruction of rubber, Teflon and paronite seals;
service life of at least 5 years;
fireproof;
100% product quality control.
Recommendations for use
The heat carrier "DIXIS-65" is poisonous and is intended exclusively for technical use, therefore it is unacceptable for it to get into food and drinking water.
For heating systems with electric and wall-mounted gas boilers, due to possible local overheating, it is necessary to install a temperature controller no higher than +70 °C and use antifreeze with a freezing temperature of -10 °C.
Dixis antifreeze has a coefficient of thermal expansion greater than that of water. To avoid the problem of the closed system being drained, it is necessary to install an expansion tank of the appropriate volume.
It is not recommended to dilute the crystallization higher than -20 ° C, since the complex of additives contained in the liquid loses its effectiveness.
Do not use heat carriers in heating systems with galvanized pipes, as the formation of bulk sediment is possible.
Do not use flax with paint to seal joints, as the coolant dissolves the paint.
Do not mix the coolant with electrode boilers.
For systems with natural circulation, it is recommended to dilute the antifreeze before pouring into the circuit. In the presence of forced circulation, it can be diluted directly in the system, for which it is necessary to pour part of the required amount of water, then antifreeze and the remaining water.
It is allowed to use tap water to dilute antifreeze, but it is recommended to use distilled or softened water to protect the heating system from hardness salts and high iron content.
It is impossible to mix DIXIS heat carriers with heat carriers from other manufacturers, as this may lead to deterioration of the performance characteristics of antifreeze and failure of heating equipment.
In the operating temperature range, antifreeze, in comparison with water, has 4-5 times higher viscosity and 10% lower heat capacity and thermal conductivity, therefore, the calculated flow rate of the circulation pump should be taken 10% more, and the calculated pressure is 60% higher.
